This retrospective analysis of the planning and intellectual works of DOit Projects is meant to be a tribute to history, culture, design tradition and sensitivity that transform objects and architecture into things and places where people know they can find harmony, welcome and hospitality; a place where to find those values, intimately tied to the human soul, to serenity, to safety; a place where to live comfortably, moving amidst things they love. Again, it is meant to be a tribute to those who contributed to the realization of these works with their own passion, their love for details, the constant search for perfection and excellence.
Giuseppe Corona, Francesco Morena and Lucio Dotto were born and reside in Italy, have a degree in Architecture from the University Of Venice and have been operating for over 25 years an intense research and planning activity, both in Italy and abroad, in the urban planning field, as well as in architectural, industrial and interior design.
They have founded, with such intents for research and design, Do.it International which is not only a planning and design studio, but also a place of research, practice and testing of everything that gravitates around the historical knowledge, the sense of Beauty and Art, the fine urban and architectural expressions and is the synthesis of the research that developed around their professional activity, always done following two main streams:
- The human beings and their needs
- The study of the cultures of the past, the continuity of experience and affinity with them
DOit Projects wrote this curriculum finding that the moment had come, after 25 years of activity, for a retrospective analysis and an interpretative evaluation of their intellectual works in the urban, architectural and design fields; their intention, far from being a self-celebration, is meant to illustrate their continuity in methods and approach to the project.
Continuity requires, from the idea to the realization, a deep knowledge of the technical tools involved in the planning language, whether it applies to a single object or a whole big project.
Going through 25 years of activity brings back to mind all the partners, the customers and all those who, somehow, crossed our project path. We couldn’t have realized what we did without their help and their contribution; to them goes our gratitude and our deepest thank you.
