DESIGNER Lucio Dotto was born and resides in Italy, even if his innumerable international commitments keep him abroad for long periods of time.
He graduated cum laude from Venice University (I.U.A.V.) with degree in Architecture in 1981.
He has been a member of ADI (Italian Designers Association) and BEDA (Bureau of European Designers Association) since 1984.
His professional interests range from interior design to product design, from graphics to countless forms of visual and communicative art. He designed, did the prototype and prepared for the industry a large number of products, furnishing systems for Italian and foreign companies and very often also took care of the dedicated visual-merchandising process.
He designed numerous suites, prestigious villas, hotels, presidential, directional and operative offices, wellness areas and gyms, several show-rooms and display areas for international trade fairs and exhibitions.
His works have been published on furniture and wood industry catalogs and magazines. He’s a marketing expert and, after directing the “centro stile” of several companies, in 1992 he founded Do.it Italia and, later on, Do.it Mosca and Do.it International, together with arch. Giuseppe Corona and arch. Francesco Morena.
